Time to get back to business.
1) I keep a spreadsheet inventory of all the artwork I’ve ever made, including crap sketches or paintings. Did you know that I only have 5 abstract paintings for sale and 4 rabbit artworks for sale? For shame. For shame.
2) I recently ripped down 28 old paintings from their stretchers (and tucked them away safely – not to worry!) and re-stretched them with fresh raw canvas. My fingers were nearly blistering from all the corners I had to fold and my hand cramped up from gessoing… but they are all finished (3 coats of Gesso plus one layer of Golden GAC 100 to prevent oil penetration) and ready to be turned into works of art!
3) Proof that I’m not bluffing about #2!
